Estimating infant mortality rates from child survivorship data by age of mother, PDF image file, 621 KB. First published paper on my method for estimating infant mortality trends from child survivorship data.

When data on children ever born and surviving are used for the purpose of estimating mortality, as they very often are, the optimal tabulation procedure involves several issues that are not generally recognized. This paper explains them and provides a detailed example.
